We welcome Saundra Lake’s return as our interim music director at Grace. Saundra will assist us from May 20 until July 2018. Thank-you Saundra.

New Music Director:  The Grace Board is pleased to announce that the Search committee has been successful in engaging a Director of Music for Grace, tentatively to begin July 8thChristopher Burton is a highly qualified and talented organist, pianist and choir leader and we look forward with anticipation to him leading our ministry of music.  Many thanks go to Jim Dolmer and the members of the Search Committee for achieving their goal so quickly.

Summer Coffee Hosts:  A signup sheet will be available downstairs during coffee hour for the next several Sundays. Please choose a date during July and August when you would be available to serve light refreshments after the service.  Thank you to all who are able to keep this important social time going during the summer months.

Earth Day The international focus this year is on ending plastic pollution. Grace's Green Team asks you to save the colourful outer bag from plastic four-litre milk bags. These are used to weave durable and washable mattresses for people without beds. Check out http://milkbagsunlimited.ca/ for more information!

New website: Grace's new website is underway. It will include more photos, and some group pictures that have been in the last several Annual Reports. If you do not want your picture to be included please send an email to Rosemary at accounting@graceunitedthornbury.ca We will contact parents regarding the use of any pictures of the children. Rosemary and Phyllis, webmasters.

Minute for Grace is available to anyone who would like to make a special announcement during the service about an activity at Grace. Minute for Grace is usually the last Sunday of each month. Please notify Carol Clarke, Chair of the Board before Friday @ 9:00 A.M.

Written Announcements to be included in the bulletin or announced from the pulpit should be submitted to the office by Friday @ 9:00 A.M. or may be given to the ushers prior to the service.
